Videogame Clip Underscore
This is a short clip of the game Ori and the Will of the Wisps. I scored this as part of my music for games module during my Master’s. I’m very pleased with this project as I think my music fits the tone and aesthetic of the game really well – particularly when the scene changes in the 2nd half.
Mucho BASE
This was a film produced by fellow students at the University of Bristol. The film follows Aimar Sky – a base jumper living in Bristol – as he gets ready for his next jump. We learn about his mentality, what got him into base jumping, the risk involved and how that risk affects his family.
Iraq Documentary Pre-titles
This is a rescore of the pre-titles sequence from the BBC documentary ‘Miracle in the Marshes of Iraq.’
The original score for the documentary was done by our tutor William Goodchild, who supplied us with these clips to use for our Media Composition Module – hence the alternate title at the end of the sequence.

The Girl in the Forest
This is the final submission for my Film Scoring module at the University of Bristol. The film follows a girl wandering through the woods. There is a sense of wonder and adventure as she takes it all in, before shifting into a dark truth about humanity’s effects on the world.
Burrowing Owls Clip
This is a rescore of a clip from the NBC documentary ‘The Americas.’ The documentary was picked up by the BBC to be played in the UK, and I was given this clip by BBC producer Billy Clarke to use for my final Media Composition submission. I really enjoy the whimsy and comedic moments in the clip, and it was both a joy and a challenge to score.

This was part of one of my Master’s modules at the University of Bristol. We were tasked with scoring two separate clips and emotionally connecting them, without using traditional “musical” techniques.

Piece of Me
This is an animated lyric video of an absurd comedy rap I wrote and submitted in my undergraduate portfolio. It follows the cartoonish story of a man being blown up and having to gather up all his body parts from various locations. This is one that I am hoping to revamp soon!
White Ribbon 2024
This was a short film by Prickly Peach Films, about the White Ribbon Campaign, which engages men to stand up against men’s violence towards women. It featured WR Ambassadors, Police, the Fire Service, the local MP, PCC and the Mayor, as well as a half-decent freelance composer!
Want It
This is a 15-minute film about what appears at first to be a home invasion. The sequence is slow and tense, with an unexpected twist at the end.
Hold On
This is a short film about a climber who strives to achieve a goal. I was the composer AND the climber!
Casino Jazz
This was a demonstration piece I did for a slot machine company, that won me an interview for composer in residence.
Costume Drama Sequence
This is a series of costume drama clips under which I have put my piece ‘Starlings.’ This was part of my application portfolio to the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2019.
