A musically-gifted composer and performer, recently graduated with a BMus (Hons) 2:1 from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Marcus has spent all his life performing, either in theatre or music.

Throughout his school days Marcus was a member of a local youth theatre company, and latterly the adult amateur dramatic and musical societies in his home town.

Marcus has had roles in Rent, Legally Blonde, One Man Two Guvnors, All Shook Up, The Witches, Elf the Musical, The Little Mermaid, and many more.

His musical talent was spotted early in high school and he spent two years at the Junior Royal Northern College of Music achieving Grade 8 as a singer. He has a low, resonant, bass voice.

Marcus possesses a unique musical ear and an eclectic compositional style, writing in a wide variety of styles from Classical to Hip-hop.

Open to composing, arranging and performance opportunities as well as front of house/backstage work. Exceptional musical ear and an innate ability to come up with new original ideas as well as a “strong creative voice” (John Hardy, RWCMD).

Effective collaborator, story-teller, and team-member, always working to get the most out of a group. He enjoys taking on challenges and taking risks with his music.
